On Friday, October 13, 2017, at noon the City of Winkler will be conducting a TEST of the Outdoor Emergency Warning Sirens. These sirens are designed to alert people who are outdoors of an impending emergency. Due to variations in building construction, wind direction, etc. these sirens may not alert people who are indoors. The City of Morden will also be conducting a TEST of the CodeRED highspeed mass notification system at approximately 12:30 PM the same day. Residents in the City of Morden are encouraged visit the City of Morden website for further information on this important service.
