Message from the Fire Chief
Welcome to our web site.
Winkler Fire/Rescue is proud to serve the City of Winkler and a portion (approximately 108 square miles) of the RM of Stanley. We are a paid on call fire department and try to maintain a roster of 40 firefighters. We are a part of the Pembina Valley Mutual Aid District, which includes eight other fire departments located in the Pembina Triangle in the heart of South Central Manitoba.
The City of Winkler along with the RM of Stanley is presently growing at a very fast pace. As the community grows, our priority is to continue upgrading and provide quality fire protection and prevention to our citizens. We train weekly on Wednesday nights, and on occasion we will do weekend seminars and scenarios.
