The City of Winkler By-Law 2138-15 authorizes the Fire Department to provide the following services:

 

  • Fire Suppression & Rescue

  • Medical Response for technical rescue

  • Water & Ice Rescue

  • Vehicle Extrication & Rescue

  • Hazardous Materials

  • Confined Space Rescue

  • High Angle Rescue

  • Trench Rescue

  • Farm Accident Rescue

  • Aircraft Extrication & Rescue

    The Winkler Fire Department also provides the following services within the scope of its operations

    • Fire Investigation

    • Fire Prevention & Inspection

    • Public Education
